The SM-19B is a single aircraft type grabber on a single 1-1/2 inch welded hardened steel ring. This is a NEW all steel part.
It's primary use is an all purpose pickup point for speaker systems with the pan/stud fitting on the cabinet.
This load rated fitting is most often used for permanent installations, and lends itself to use with steel aircraft cable.
SM-93
The SM-93 Single Pan Fitting Kit includes all of the hardware necessary to mount this standard fitting on a touring or permanently installed speaker cabinets. A large 2 3/8-inch hole and six small holes are required through the cabinet.
The backing plate and pan form a sandwich to the plywood and when used on the side wall, the right angle pull has been tested to approximately 2000 pounds. The special SMI pickup stud goes through the steel backing plate with a second security nut. .
